A day in the life of a full-time RV family
For all of you that may wonder why someone would ever give up a secure job that they love, that has a nice safe future, where you can contractually see what you will be making 5 years from now, to live in a home that is under 300sq ft on wheels.
This is why

This beautiful scene is from Finland State Forest Campground .
We were on our way to Harriet Lake in the North Woods of Minnesota, when we found ourselves in quite the predicament. The road google maps decided to send us down to Harriet Lake turned out to be more like a four wheeler trail. Of course, I decided it would be a great idea to go down it anyway. So about a half mile in, we came upon a v in the road where we decided we had no choice but to turn around. Words cannot accurately describe the feelings we all had as I tried, many times, to back up and turn around without running into trees, only to have it continually look more and more like it just wasn't going to happen.
After a couple hours of trying, and eventually having to unhitch and re-hitch, we did manage to get the rig turned around. I think what really made the whole event difficult was trying to make all the turns with a power steering pump that completely pooped out on us right when we turned down this stupid ATV trail.
Now we are sitting here without a truck while the fine folks at Don's Auto Repair in Finland MN replace the Power Steering pump, Fan Belt, and the Fan Clutch. Yeah, so, that hurts. $$$
Guess we will see what the next few days hold.
Thanks for reading. Talk to you all tomorrow.
